The REI Cooperative Action Fund directly supports a growing list of nonprofits creating a more equitable outdoors including:

• Adaptive Adventures: striving to ensure that all individuals with physical disabilities have access to participation in outdoor sports, regardless of their location, equipment needs or economic status.
• Black Girls Do Bike: introducing the joy of cycling to women, especially women and girls of color. Led by more than 170 “Sheroes,” this network of 100+ riding groups across the country organizes rides, offers support and comfortable places for female cyclists, and promotes skill-sharing.
• East Coast Greenway Alliance: bringing the joy of outdoor trails to people’s doorsteps throughout the 3,000-mile corridor in 450 communities, large and small, from Maine to Pennsylvania to Florida.

Grantee partners are announced each Spring and Fall! Recommend a potential grantee.
