Cheyenne River Youth Project

The Cheyenne River Youth Project serves Lakota youth age 4-18 on the Cheyenne River Lakota Sioux reservation in South Dakota. Its programming builds leadership and strong life skills; strengthens the connection between Lakota youth and their culture, art, and traditions; increases the number of kids committed to wellness, exercise and healthy eating; and teaches youth to garden to improve food sovereignty.
